Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection apparatus of a solar battery which can discriminate a dark area to be detected as a defect. SOLUTION: This inspection apparatus 10 of the solar battery includes: an image obtaining part 13 for obtaining a cell image representing a solar battery cell in an energization state; a crack positional information generating part 14 for specifying a line-shaped pixel group having a lower lightness than surroundings inside the cell image to generate positional information on a crack; a dark area position information generating part 15 for specifying a pixel group which collects pixels having a lightness equal to or less than a given lightness, and has an area equal to or more than a given area in the cell image to generate the positional information on the dark area; and a dark area determining part 16 for determining whether or not the dark area is one caused by a crack, based on a positional relationship between the dark area and the crack.
