Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container with a hinged cap which has a backward air preventive mechanism with various functions which can inexpensively be manufactured and have a small number of assembling processes. SOLUTION: The container with the hinged cap comprises a head 2 formed of a shoulder 3 and a mouth 4 positioned at the upper part of a container body 1, a valve element holding part 5 hanging down from the tip of the mouth 4 of the head 2 and a lid 8 connected to a part of the outer periphery of the head 2 through a hinge 7 so as to be freely openable and closable.
