Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive control device of a heat source machine for an air conditioner and a control method capable of saving energy by controlling the heat source machine of the air conditioner, and reducing the installation cost of a sensor. SOLUTION: A control target value of an outlet temperature of a load-side working medium of the heat source machine is calculated by using at least a heat source machine inlet/outlet temperature of the load-side working medium of the heat source machine for the air conditioner and an outlet/inlet temperature of a radiation-side working medium, and the calculated control target value is outputted to the heat source machine.
