Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize cooling of a hole as cast. SOLUTION: A pin for hole as cast 3 is configured to have a triple wall tube structure consisting of a hollow pin body 9, a hollow cooling tube 11 arranged inside the hollow pin body, and a hollow inner cooling tube 15 arranged further inside the hollow cooling tube 11. Using a cooling water pump 23, cooling water is sent with pressure to a cooling water supply passage 13 between the pin body 9 and the cooling tube 11 and to a cooling water supply passage 29 inside the inner cooling tube 15. The supply of cooling water to the cooling water supply passage 13 enhances cooling efficiency of the proximal end part of the pin for hole as cast 3. Simultaneously, using a pneumatic pump 27, air is made to flow in the air passage 25 to generate a negative pressure inside the air passage 25, thereby sucking outside the cooling water through an intermediate passage 17 between the cooling tube 11 and the inner cooling tube 15, suppressing detention of cooling water in a gap 15 at the chip end part of the pin for hole as cast 3, and enhancing cooling efficiency at the chip end part.
