Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for brazing a heat exchanger, which is made of aluminum and composed of a plurality of different heat mass members, capable of performing a satisfactory brazing treatment while preventing deterioration of heat resistance caused by excessive dispersion of zinc. SOLUTION: The method includes the following steps and is executed in the following order: a first step of raising the temperature inside a heating furnace, which holds an aluminum-made capacitor 1, to a first predetermined temperature that is set lower than the temperature where dispersion of zinc occurs; a second step of raising the temperature of whole structural members of the aluminum-made capacitor 1 to the first predetermined temperature by keeping the first predetermined temperature for a predetermined period of time; a third step of brazing the whole structural members of the aluminum-made capacitor 1 by raising the temperature inside the heating furnace to a second predetermined temperature where brazing is performed; and a fourth step of starting to lower the temperature inside the heating furnace at the time of completion of brazing.
