Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a motor where torque is large and loss is small with a simple structure. SOLUTION: Various suitable embodiments of a switched reluctance motor, which has a DC coil and an AC coil, are described. DC magnetic poles 43 and 45, which transfer, for example, DC magnetic flux with a rotor 2, and alternating magnetic poles 42 and 44, which transfer alternating magnetic flux, where the direction of magnetic flux reverses at regular intervals, with the rotor 2, are coupled alternately with each other by a yoke 41 so as to constitute a stator 1. Hereby, the reluctance motor can be achieved. For example, the DC magnetic poles 43 and 45 are excited by a concentratedly-wound DC coil. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
