PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a far-side airbag for adequately protecting an occupant in case of a side collision accident of a vehicle, and expanding an application range. SOLUTION: In the airbag device to be inflated and deployed in a space between occupants P1 and P2 seated on a left and right pair of a driver's seat 3 and a front passenger's seat 4 of a vehicle 1, the airbag 22 includes a first airbag 23 and a second airbag 24 which are inflated and deployed to the upper direction of a console box 8 arranged between seats 3a and 4a of the driver's seat 3 and the front passenger's seat 4, a first sandwiching portion 25 which is arranged at the lower position of the first airbag 23 and sandwiches the left side surface of the console box 8, and a second sandwiching parts 26 which is arranged at the lower position of the second airbag 24 and sandwiches the right side surface of the console box 8. The first and second sandwiching parts 25 and 26 sandwich the upper part of the console box 8 to suppress movement of the airbag 22 in a vehicle widthwise direction in case of the side collision accident.
