Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently apply a release agent to a fuser member. SOLUTION: A liquid supply system for supplying liquid to a fusing surface of a fuser member includes: a metering roll 552 having a first outer surface 553; a donor roll 554 having a second outer surface 560 disposed adjacent the first outer surface 553; and a liquid reducing roll 590 having a third outer surface 591 adapted to be disposed adjacent the second outer surface 560. The metering roll 552 is adapted to convey the liquid from the first outer surface 553 to the second outer surface 560. The donor roll 554 is adapted to be disposed adjacent to the fuser member to convey the liquid from the second outer surface 560 to the fusing surface 504.
