Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To associate player's jumping with character's jumping in a game screen for intuitively operating a character by player's jumping. SOLUTION: The game apparatus includes jumping boards, a group 42 of positional sensors for detecting a change in movement of the jumping boards, and a group 43 of acceleration sensors. A CPU 31 detects player's jumping on a jumping board based on the change in movement detected by the sensors. The CPU 31 controls the movement of the character displayed in the game screen in association with the detected player's jumping. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
