Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductor-coated fiber assembly that has higher properties than those of the conventional ones and is suitably useful for various uses. SOLUTION: The conductor-coated fiber assembly 1 comprises an assembly of a conductor-coated fiber 10 obtained by coating the surface of a polymer fiber 20 having an average diameter of 50-800 nm with a conductor 30 and has voids remaining among each of the conductor-coated fibers 10. The conductor-coated fiber assembly 1 has the ratio of the unit volume of voids remaining among each of the conductor-coated fibers 10 of 40-90% and the ratio of area of parts not coated with the conductor 30 in the surface of the polymer fiber 20 of ≤20%. The conductor-coated fiber assembly 1 is suitably useful for various uses such as a heat insulating material, an electromagnetic wave shielding material, an electromagnetic wave absorption material, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
