Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing body of a large pellicle storing container having a small occupied volume of a shock-absorbing material, and capable of protecting a pellicle and a pellicle storing container from various vibrations and shocks generated during transportation of the large pellicle storing container, and safely conveying the pellicle storing container while any foreign matters such as dust are not deposited thereon. SOLUTION: In the packing body, a pellicle storing container storing a pellicle is horizontally stored in a packing box via a shock-absorbing material. The shock-absorbing material is dispersed on an inner side bottom face of the packing box, and a single or a plurality of pellicle storing containers are supported by an upper surface of the shock-absorbing material having the total upper surface area of ≥10% and <30% of the bottom area of the pellicle storing container located at the lowest position in the packing box.
