SOLUTION: Fender panels 17 are provided on both right and left side of a hood member covering an engine room. A fender panel 17 includes: an outer surface part 30 positioned on the outer side of the car body; a vertical wall 31 extending downward inside the car body from the upper end of the outer surface part 30; and a horizontal wall 33 extending in the width direction of the car body from the lower end of the vertical wall 31 bordering on a folded part 32. The folded part 32, where the vertical wall 31 and the horizontal wall 33 intersect, is formed with corner beads 37. The horizontal wall 33 is formed with downward-facing beads 50 projecting downward. The inside of the downward-facing bead 50 is formed with a hole 55. The lower surface of the horizontal wall 33 faces the upper surface wall of a fender shield panel 27.
