Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punch tool capable of cooling a blade chip part of a punch without considerably changing a conventional structure of the punch tool without installing any special device in a punch press body. SOLUTION: The punch tool 4 includes a punch 33 and a punch holder 22. The punch 33 includes a punch upper part 37 and a punch lower part 38 having sectional areas different from each other. The punch holder 22 includes an inner diameter hole 41 to which the punch upper part 37 is freely slidably fitted, a space forming hole 43 in which an air storage space 42 is formed between the punch upper part 37 and the punch lower part 38, and a through-hole 44 to which the punch lower part 38 is slidably fitted. A communication hole 49 is formed, which communicates the air storage space 42 with an outer part of the punch holder. A check valve 50 is provided in the communication hole 49, which permits the air flow from the outer part of the punch holder to the air storage space 42, and does not permit any air flow in the opposite direction thereto.
