Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately discriminate an outer edge of an object regardless of colors or the like of the object. SOLUTION: In a data display/sensor apparatus 100, a liquid crystal panel 301A with a built-in sensor for displaying an image is arranged on one of two inner surfaces which are opposed to each other in a folded state of cases and a liquid crystal panel 301B with a built-in sensor for detecting a nearby image is arranged on the other inner surface so that both the panels 301A, 301B are opposed to each other. The liquid crystal panel 301B is allowed to detect an object and an image on the liquid crystal panel 301A in the displayed state of the image on the liquid crystal panel 301A and an outer edge information generation part 123 specifies a boundary between the image of the object and the image on the liquid crystal panel 301A from the detected image.
