Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator of high usability by effectively utilizing a storage compartment at a central section of the refrigerator to which a user can put in and take out food while keeping user's posture without bending down. SOLUTION: This refrigerator comprises a refrigerating compartment 102 disposed at an uppermost section, a vegetable compartment 106 disposed at a lowermost section, and a plurality of storage compartments of freezing temperature zone disposed between the refrigerating compartment and the vegetable compartment, and a part of the storage compartments of the freezing temperature zone is applied as a change-over compartment 103 of which a temperature can be set to various temperature ranges, thus the usability can be improved as the user can put in and take out food to the refrigerating compartment of high convenience while keeping user's posture without bending down, and at-home food life can be improved, as the refrigerator can be more effectively utilized.
