Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for inspecting solar batteries, which allows a user to readily grasp the location and the type of defects of photovoltaic cells. SOLUTION: The apparatus for inspecting the solar batteries includes an image acquiring section 15 for acquiring a cell image, representing the energized photovoltaic cells; a defect identification section 16 for identifying a part within the cell image, which satisfies each condition prescribed according to the kind of the defect of the photovoltaic cells; and a display control section 19 for changing the part identified within the cell image to a display mod, according to the type of defects.
