Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new poly(p-xylylene)-based polymer useful as a low loss insulating material having a low dielectric constant, low loss characteristics, and excellent process characteristics, and to provide an insulating material, a printed circuit board, and a functional element using the poly(p-xylylene)-based polymer. SOLUTION: The poly(p-xylylene)-based polymer includes at least one repeating unit represented by chemical formula (1).
