Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a motor even if abnormality occurs with some of switching elements, in a motor control system wherein stopping of an inverse conversion part can cause accidents. SOLUTION: In the motor control system, DC power is power-converted to AC power, for outputting to a motor M, by an inverse conversion part INV wherein a plurality of serial circuits, with switching elements being provided to an upper arm and a lower arm connected in series, are connected parallel for each phase. At least two windings are provided to the motor M for each phase. The serial circuits in the inverse conversion part INV are divided into at least two blocks for each phase. At least one block of serial circuit is connected to each winding. At least two gate drive circuits 6 are provided, for controlling switching elements for each block. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
