Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake air control device for an internal combustion engine, suitable for improving fuel consumption and reducing emissions. SOLUTION: An intake chamber 61 is provided to communicate with an intake passage 71B downstream of a throttle valve 51 when the throttle valve 51 has a predetermined opening or less and the engine 10 is rotated at low load and low speed. The volume of the intake chamber 61 is so set that at least the total volume with the volume of an intake pipe downstream of the throttle valve 51 is ≥60% of stroke volume.
