Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior wall structure that exhibits higher thermal insulation performance by avoiding generation of a thermal bridge between a framework and a heat insulating interior wall panel while keeping the workability of construction and the efficiency of mounting at the same or higher level than the interior wall structure in the prior art. SOLUTION: When vertical and horizontal frame materials 21 and 22 made of light gage steel are installed on the outdoor side of a framed interior wall backing frame 2 and the heat insulating interior wall panel 1 made by sticking a moisture-proof sheet 3 and a film-wrapped heat insulating material 4 together is built on the indoor side of a steel framework skeleton, the interior wall backing frame 2 is separated from the skeleton and the vertical frame materials 21 of the interior wall backing frame 2 are disposed so as to shift relative to column materials 6 of the skeleton, and the heat insulating material 4 is interposed between the skeleton and the interior wall backing frame 2 so as not to be interrupted even at the column positions of the skeleton.
