Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PC conference system which can use an existing subscriber telephone terminal as an audio interface to enable switching between a general telephone line and an IP telephone line at any timing. SOLUTION: A PC (10) connected to a network (1) analyzes a dial signal containing selection information for selecting a connection mode of an audio telephone call inputted from a subscriber telephone terminal (20), and connects the subscriber telephone terminal (20) to or disconnects it from a general telephone line network in accordance with an instruction signal from a receiving/transmitting part (11). At that time, the receiving/transmitting part (11) outputs a connection instruction signal to a switch (SW) based on the inputted selection information. Alternatively, the receiving/transmitting part (11) outputs a disconnection instruction signal to the switch (SW), and also transfers an audio electric signal from the subscriber telephone terminal (20) to the general telephone line network or an audio processing part (14).
