Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an organic EL element which is equipped with a passivation layer having high transparency and in which a long service life for not only a short period but also a long period is guaranteed. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the organic EL element equipped with the passivation layer, and when the passivation layer is formed by a plasma CVD method, the passivation layers are composed of two layers or more of laminated passivation layers, and fluorine treatment is carried out at least on one surface of the layers out of surfaces of respective layers.
