Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively enhance earthquake resisting performance of a double floor. SOLUTION: A steel-frame support 100 is installed on the floor joists 70 and 72 of the double floor 20, which is composed of a concrete floor of the building 10 and a free-access panel fixed onto the floor joists (beams) 70 and 72 forming a space in an upper section, so as to enhance rigidity of a floor section. Thus, a natural frequency of the floor section is increased, and the amplification of the shaking of the free-access panel constituting a floor surface is prevented or restrained from being caused by resonance, so that the earthquake resisting performance can be enhanced.
