Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items of a transmission, and to compactify a dimension. SOLUTION: This transmission is constituted to fix a forward idle gear 23 for an advance shifting position onto an idle shaft IS, to support engageably and disengageably a reverse idle gear 24 for a retreat shifting position by a reverse synchronization-coupler S4, to mesh the forward idle gear 23 with a main drive gear 11 of a main shaft MS and a secondary driven gear 14 of a secondary shaft SS, and to mesh the reverse idle gear 24 with a counter first speed-reverse gear 19 of a counter shaft CS, and the reverse idle gear 24 for retreat is thereby supported using the idle shaft IS for supporting the forward idle gear 23 for advance.
