Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly learn a reference position of a momentary shift lever operated by a driver based on an output value of a shift sensor and a select sensor. SOLUTION: An ECU in this control device calculates an average value A of a shift voltage value of the last time cycle and this time cycle (S108), when time for maintaining Vse in Hi is longer than T2 thereafter (YES in S104), when time for maintaining a select voltage value Vse in Lo is longer than T1 (YES in S100) and the Vse changes to the Hi from the Lo (YES in S102), and learns a reference voltage value VC when the shift lever is positioned in the reference position in the shift direction based on the average value A (S110). The ECU does not learn the reference voltage value VC (S112) when the time for maintaining the Vse in the Lo is shorter than the T1 (NO in S100) or when the time for maintaining the Vse in the Hi is shorter than the T2 (YES in S104).
