Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information-recording medium to whose clamping area label information such as a maker name is recorded when a printable area of a label face is extended to the clamping area. SOLUTION: The optical information-recording medium 200 is formed by bonding a substrate 20 and a dummy substrate 26 together in which a printing layer is provided so that it may cover parts corresponding to the clamping area 24 and recording area 25 of the substrate 20. In this case, the substrate 20, which is not related to the display of label information and is a pit for making the contrast of the clamping area 24 nearly equal to the contrast of the recording area 25, includes: a non-recording/reproduction pit 202, as a first pit for non-recording/reproduction, which is formed across the whole area of the clamping area 24 and includes a prescribed shape; and a character string pit 205, as a second pit, which is formed in the clamping area 24 and is for displaying prescribed label information. A reflection layer 204 is formed across the whole area of the clamping area 24 of the substrate 20 and across the whole area of the recording area 25. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
