SOLUTION: The alarm device 1 for notifying the driver includes: an alarm sound output part 32 outputting the alarm sound related to vehicle operation; an alarm sound control part 11 changing volume Vnand a frequency fn, and making an output means output the alarm sound; and a reaction time measurement recording part 10 measuring a reaction time (a response time) of the driver to the alarm sound. The alarm sound control part 11 makes the alarm sound be output from the alarm sound output part 32 by use of the volume Vnand the frequency fnwherein the reaction time is shortened to learn the volume and the frequency of the alarm sound in accordance with personal capability and to output the alarm sound easy to be recognized by the driver by use of results obtained by performing the learning.
