Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic clinical thermometer excellent in usability, which has a misoperation preventing function capable of flexibly responding to requests of a user and an operating environment. SOLUTION: The electronic clinical thermometer having a power supply which is turned off by continuing pressing a power switch for a prescribe period or pressing the power switch successively prescribed times, is configured such that a setting value of the prescribed period or the prescribed times can be varied by the user.
