PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely make foreign language speech data to be learned into a teaching material so as to facilitate the learning. SOLUTION: Of a learning terminal, a main part 46 additionally registers break points, each time a break point specifying operation is performed, while making the foreign language speeches reproduced in a state of news content containing foreign language speeches and texts obtained from an external WEB server 20 which is stored in a storage section 45. When a break point desired for server as the boundary between partial reproduction ranges is selected, the main part 46 additionally registers the part between the two boundaries as the partial reproduction range. When the desired partial reproduction range is selected and the reproduction of the range is instructed, the main part 46 reproduces the range, corresponding to the foreign language speech and outputs it through a loudspeaker, and a learner can intensively practice listening and shadowing of any desired range. When the operation of recording through a microphone or a reproduction operation is performed, the main part 46 records or reproduces the speech of the learner and the learner can check own pronunciation.
