Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a high performance solid-oxide fuel cell using screen printing which makes the stacking of coated portions smooth. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the solid-oxide fuel cell includes a coating step of forming at least part of a plurality of power generation elements 5 comprising a fuel electrode 7, an electrolyte 11 and an air electrode 9, and an interconnector 13 connecting the power generation elements 5 by applying slurry 21 of component by screen printing on a porous substrate pipe 3. The screen printing is conducted by using a screen printing plate 17 in which at least part of a relaxation application part 29 of an application pattern 25 to which a screen is exposed is formed so as to successively decrease the exposed ratio of the screen toward an edge part 27.
