Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insure that correct information is stored in a storage part without using RAW (Read After Write) technique. SOLUTION: When receiving an access request from a server 10, a microprocessor 50 allocates a free slot 34 as a storage destination for user data different from LU# and LBA designated as a storage destination for the user data, stores the user data and data identification information for identifying the user data into the free slot 34, and clears a data slot 30 before update designated with the LU# and LBA to zero. For next read access, the microprocessor accesses the data slot 30, and transfers read data as correct data to the server 10 when read data identification information matches data identification information designated by the read access from the server 10, and performs processing for recovering the correct data based upon the read data identification information when they do not match each other.
