SOLUTION: The cam follower for the rocker arm includes a support shaft 6, a roller 11 rotatably journaled to the support shaft 6, and a plurality of rollers 12 arranged in an annular region between the support shaft 6 and the roller 11. The roller 11 includes an outer peripheral surface, an inner peripheral surface and end faces 16. The outer peripheral surface of the roller abuts on the cam 4. A region between a radial outer end 16o and an inner end 16i of the roller end face 16 includes a portion 16m projected in an axial direction from the radial outer end 16o.
