Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new peptide compound having HCV protease inhibition activity and a method for producing the compound, in addition, a pharmaceutical composition containing the compound and a method for using them in treating diseases associated with HCV proteases. SOLUTION: A new class of HCV protease inhibitors, a pharmaceutical composition containing one or more kinds of the compounds, a method for producing the pharmaceutical composition containing one or more kinds of the compounds, a method for treating, preventing or improving one or more symptoms of hepatitis C, a method for controlling the interaction between HCV polypeptides and HCV proteases, a compound inhibiting HCV NS3/NS4a serine protease activity and a peptide compound including an amino acid sequence from P3 to P2' are disclosed.
