Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the quality of conveyance by surely restraining a paper sheet and giving a desirable curl to the paper sheet. SOLUTION: This paper sheet conveying device includes: a first roller 101 formed of an elastically deformable elastic member; a second roller 103 formed of a hard member and forming a nip 102 between the first roller 101 and the second roller; a tension roller 106 arranged on an upstream side of the second roller 103 in the paper sheet conveying direction; an endless belt 105 having predetermined tension between the second roller 103 and the tension roller 106 and having a plurality of holes by boring and forming the nip 102 together with the second roller 103; and a fan for sucking air on the paper sheet conveying side through-holes of the endless belt 105. A paper sheet is conveyed to the nip 102 in a state of sucking the paper sheet to the endless belt 105 by the fan, and the paper sheet in conveyance is curled by passing through the nip 102.
