Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a sediment conveying means such as a hose and a belt conveyor to be laterally moved even in a narrow tunnel. SOLUTION: A supporting device 3, on which the sediment conveying means A1 can be placed, is arranged on the top surface section of a following truck unit 1 for use in tunnel excavation. The supporting device 3, which has a spherical, approximately cylindrical or approximately cylindrical columnar rotator, is constituted in such a manner that the sediment conveying means A1 can be moved in the width direction (±x-direction) of the tunnel by a slight force. Since the supporting device 3 can be structurally formed as a thin profile type, it can be used even in the narrow tunnel in which lifting equipment such as a chain block which cannot be arranged or operated.
