Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for manufacturing a plastic lens having a resin layer capable of reducing or eliminating a staying liquid in an peripheral edge part of an application face, using an application liquid containing an ultraviolet curable resin component. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for the plastic lens includes the application of the application liquid containing the ultraviolet curable resin component onto at least one face of the plastic lens, and the formation of the resin layer on the face by irradiating thereafter the application liquid with an ultraviolet ray.
