Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method by which a decarburized layer is suppressed and a round steel bar is obtained inexpensively. SOLUTION: Manufacturing equipment for the manufacturing method is provided with a ladle 2, a casting apparatus 4, a slabbing mill 6, a peeling machine 8, a heating furnace 10, a rough train rolling mill 12, a flying shear 14, an intermediate train rolling mill 16, a finishing train rolling mill 18, a cooling bed 20, a cold shear 22, a blasting device 24 and an atmospheric furnace 26. The peeling machine 8 applies peeling to the slab obtained with the slabbing mill 6. The oxidized scale is removed by the peeling. Rolling with the rough train rolling mill 12, the intermediate train rolling mill 16 and the finish train rolling mill 18 is applied to the slab heated with the heating furnace 10 and a long size steel is obtained. The shot blasting is applied to this long size steel with the blasting device 24. The oxidized scale is removed from the long size steel by shot blasting.
