Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which can effectively heighten players' expectation at the final stage of a replay high probability condition. SOLUTION: After RT (1) advantageous to players ends, the slot machine shifts to an initial game condition. When replays (8) to (10) are won, the machine shifts to the RT (1) again. When a replay (1) is won, the machine shifts to RT (2) disadvantageous to the players. A sub CPU 91a carries out a battle performance suggesting the possibility that a special combination has been won and the possibility that SCT in which a procedure for avoiding the winning of the replay (1) is announced in a subsequent initial game condition has been won at the final stage of the RT (1). The battle performance comprises a plurality of patterns. The sub CPU 91a carries out the battle performance on the basis of either pattern from among the plurality of patterns, and chooses a pattern which is advantageous to an ally as compared with other patterns (a strong attack of an ally, a special attack) at a higher ratio when a special combination has been won than when the SCT has been won.
