Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of further accurately determining a periodic energy consumption of a dwelling house with air conditioning equipment set therein by a short-period monitor test. SOLUTION: An air conditioner 22 is set within a test dwelling house 2 housed within an environmental test room 11 that is a space which can be set to an optional temperature and humidity condition. The temperature of an ambient space R1 of the dwelling house 2 is changed more quickly than usual, and a power consumption of the air conditioner 22 measured in this case is converted to a one in a general time, whereby the power consumption of the air conditioner 22 is determined. In this conversion, a correction coefficient for correcting an error based on response delay of an interior space R2 associated with heat storage characteristic of a wall material 21 is applied.
