Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puncture adapter 100 to be mounted on an ultrasonic probe 10 where operability is enhanced in both a case for performing a puncture operation and a case for not performing a puncture operation. SOLUTION: The puncture adapter includes: a water bag 20 arranged on one side; and an attachment piece 60 for attaching a guide member 70 guiding a puncture needle N, which is arranged on the other side. The guide member is rotatably and axially fitted to the attachment part, is inclined in a direction toward a scanning range from one end of an ultrasonic wave scanning direction so as to adhere onto the side part of the water bag and to allow the distal end to reach the ultrasonic scanning range when puncturing is performed, and is rotated and fixed to a position without contact with the water bag when puncturing is not performed. Thus, the guide member fixing position is changed between the case for performing the puncture operation and the case for not performing the puncture operation, thereby extremely enhancing the operability of the ultrasonic probe, and using the water bag with a simple shape.
