Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet polarizer, selectively transmitting only a specified polarization component to incident light, a liquid crystal display device including the sheet polarizer, and a polarized light scattering plate for use in these. SOLUTION: This laminated sheet polarizer includes a reflection type sheet polarizer A and a polarized light scattering plate B, which are stacked, wherein the transmission axis of te reflection type sheet polarizer A and the transmission axis of the polarized light scattering plate B are arranged substantially in parallel, and the polarized light scattering plate B has a matrix phase and a domain phase disposed in the matrix phase. The matrix phase and the domain phase satisfy the following conditions (i) to (iii). In this laminated sheet polarizer, (i) the matrix phase is optically substantially isotropy, (ii) a slow axis of the domain phase is substantially vertical to the transmission axis of the reflection type sheet polarizer A in a plane of the polarized light scattering plate B, and (iii) the refractive index vertical to the slow axis of the domain phase is substantially the same as the refractive index of the matrix phase.
