Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guiding catheter inserted from the artery of an arm not only to be used in the treatment of the ilium artery or peripheral artery under the ilium artery but also to be indwelled at a desired position in a blood vessel and capable of inserting a treatment device in a desired morbid region. SOLUTION: The guiding catheter is equipped with a flexible tube 2 having a lumen continuing to its leading end part from its base end part and the flexible tube 2 has a plurality of curved parts W1, W2 and W3 at its leading end part and is equipped with the first curved part W1 engaged with the base of the aorta abdominalis and the second curved part W2 engaged with the common iliac artery as the curved parts W1, W2 and W3.
