Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine which includes a plurality of merchandise storages and performs heat pump operation, wherein the heat pump operation is efficiently performed even if the merchandise storage has only small space. SOLUTION: The vending machine includes a heating-cooling circulation circuit which is made up of a compressor 61, heating heat exchangers 66a, 66b arranged together with evaporators 65a, 65b, 65c in the merchandise storage, a pressure adjustment means 79, a distributor, and the evaporators. In this vending machine, the evaporators and the heating heat exchangers in the cooling and heating merchandise storage are connected by a pipe in parallel or serial via solenoid valves 68, 68a, 68b, 70a, 70b, 70c, 81a, 81b, 83a, 83b. This allows the heating heat exchanger and the evaporator to be used as a heating heat source even when the heating operation of the cooling and heating merchandise storage is performed, thereby providing a compact heat exchanger for the merchandise storage.
