Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biosensor system for appropriately reading an identification label by not only confirming the insertion of a biosensor but also confirming the insertion of the biosensor into an appropriate position. SOLUTION: A third electrode 170 is formed in the biosensor 100 including a pair of output electrodes 112a, 112b and the identification label comprising the identification mark 160 composed of through-holes, where the third electrode 170 is electrically connected to the output electrode 112b and the position of an insertion side end is located in the rear of a position at the insertion side end of the output electrode 112b. Further, the measuring instrument 1 includes a connector 10. The connector 10 includes : a third connector electrode 12 electrically connected to the output electrode 112b when the biosensor 100 is inserted ; and a fourth connector electrode 13 electrically connected to the third electrode 170 formed in the biosensor 100 by further inserting the biosensor 100 after connecting both of the output electrode 112b and the third connector electrode 12.
