Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver which improves user-friendliness in pay broadcast reception. SOLUTION: In a system where a plurality of devices including one or more digital broadcast receivers 110a are connected via a control bus 10, the digital broadcast receiver 110a includes a device data management section, a charging information management section for managing charging information, and a reception contract management section for managing information relating to a reception contract. When additionally connecting a digital broadcast receiver, reception contract information items of established contracts are acquired from the other digital broadcast receivers, the acquired information items are set partially or all, and a broadcast providing source is notified about the setting.
