The top and bottom fields are interpolated to generate interpolated top and bottom field frames each. Each of the interpolated top and bottom field frames is allowed to correlate with a second video frame N-1 generated immediately before the first video frame N of a vide frame sequence and a third video frame N+1 generated immediately after the first video frame.
