Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable even nodes having small storage to share content by participating in an overlay network. SOLUTION: A node stores content "Content Name" itself in an external server or the like which has not participated in an overlay network using a distributed hash table (DHT). A node N1 transmits a LOOKUP request to the DHT to check whether or not the similar information has already been stored before the storage position information of the content is stored. The DHT retrieves whether or not the similar information has been stored in the distributed hash table DHT by using hash ("Content Name") as a key. When any key does not exist, the DHT transmits the response of 404 NOT FOUND to the node N1. The node N1 transmits the PUT request to the DHT in order to store contentinfo as the storage position information of the content in the DHT. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
