PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a project management device which manages a project not only by a hierarchical method which makes the plan of a low-order task linked to a high-order task, but also by a hierarchical method which makes the high-order task not affected by the plan of the low-order task, and also to provide a project management method, a project management program, and a recording medium. SOLUTION: The project management device divides a master task into slave tasks in a tree state to manage a project. In this case, the device has a storage means which stores tasks to be managed in a database and a task-registering means which registers the slave tasks with the database in association with the first master task. The task-registering means registers the slave tasks which make the period of a process, in which the first master task is executed, not linked to the period of a process in which the slave tasks are executed.
