SOLUTION: This head part mounted type video display is provided with a display unit for displaying an image based on an image data, and an electronic camera for generating the image data by photographing the outside, the head part mounted type image display has a display control part for outputting a menu image data for selecting an operation executed in the head part mounted type image display, to the display unit, and for controlling the driving of the display unit, and an image analytical part for analyzing the image data generated by the electronic camera, and the display control part determines the propriety of outputting the menu image data to the display unit, based on an analytical result from the image analytical part.
