PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water atomizer improved in maintenance performance, and a humidifier using the same. SOLUTION: This water atomizer comprises: a water atomizing means 2; a driving means 3 generating rotative power; a tank casing 4 including the water atomizing means 2; a water storage section 13 disposed at a lower portion of the tank casing 4; a rotating member 11 for transmitting the rotative power to the driving means 3; a lifting pipe 10 formed on the water atomizing means 2 with the hollow inverted truncated cone shape, a passive section 8 receiving the rotative power transmitted from the rotating member 11; and a water atomizing plate 9 for atomizing the water. A cylindrical body 12 communicating the inside and outside of the tank casing 4 is disposed at a lower portion of the tank casing 4 at an outer side of the rotating member 11, a water storage section 13 is formed between an outer side of the cylindrical body 12 and the tank casing 4, the lifting pipe 10 and the passive section 8 are connected at an outer side of the cylindrical body 12, and the rotating member 11 and the passive section 8 are provided with a fitting means fitting detachably in the vertical direction, and an engagement means for transmitting the rotative power from the rotating member 11 to the passive section 8.
